What are Yard Signs?

Yard Signs are lightweight, durable signs commonly used for outdoor advertising, directional signage, real estate, events, and business promotions. 777Sign Yard Signs are printed in full color on 4mm white Coroplast, a fluted plastic material well suited for both indoor and outdoor signage applications.

Our most popular size is 24" × 18", while additional sizes are also available to accommodate different signage and display needs.

For ground-mounted applications, an optional 10" × 30" steel H-stake is available. The H-stake slides into the vertical flutes of the Coroplast, allowing the sign to be easily installed in grass, lawns, and other suitable soft-ground areas.

  • We cannot color match. Please see our Color Optimization Guide for recommendations on preparing your artwork for optimal print results, including true black and blue colors.
  • Design for clear visibility. Yard signs are typically viewed from a distance and often for only a few seconds. Use large, legible fonts, strong color contrast, and a clean layout to ensure that important information can be recognized quickly.
  • Keep important information concise. Prioritize essential content such as your business name, phone number, direction, event information, or call to action. Avoid excessive text or overly complex layouts that may reduce readability.
  • Use high-resolution artwork. Submit high-quality images, logos, and graphics at the appropriate size whenever possible. Low-resolution or heavily compressed artwork may result in visible pixelation or reduced print quality.
  • Select the appropriate sign size. 24" × 18" is a popular choice for standard yard sign applications, but additional sizes are available. When selecting a size, consider the intended viewing distance, installation location, and amount of information included in your design.
  • Prepare artwork for the selected size. Artwork should be created at the same proportion as the ordered sign size. Before submitting your file, verify that all important text, logos, and graphics are positioned appropriately within the design area.
  • Install the H-stake correctly. When using the optional 10" × 30" steel H-stake, align the stake with the vertical flutes of the Coroplast and insert it carefully to avoid damaging the sign. H-stakes are intended for installation in suitable soft-ground surfaces such as grass or soil.
  • Consider outdoor placement and conditions. Place yard signs in a stable, visible location and ensure they are securely installed. Severe weather, high winds, hard or rocky ground, and other environmental conditions may affect the stability and service life of the sign.
  • Follow local placement requirements. Sign regulations may vary by property, community, or municipality. Customers are responsible for confirming that the placement and use of their yard signs comply with applicable requirements.
  • Handle and store signs properly. When signs are not in use, store them flat in a clean, dry location whenever possible. Avoid folding, crushing, or placing excessive pressure on the Coroplast flutes, particularly if the signs will be reused with H-stakes.
